Simple Things I've Been Loving

Home cooking. This is a chicken larb dish that my brother's boyfriend made recently.  It was really tasty, and it looks pretty awesome also! I'm totally inspired to cook Asian cuisines and work on the plating of it as well.

Firehouse curd from the Farmer's Market.  I get  my organic cheese fix from the local Farmer's Market on Saturdays.  I am a big fan of the firehouse and smoked jack cheese variety, and love frequenting the Farmer's Market solely for cheese.  It's great as an appetizer for a party or just to snack on during the week.

A simple makeup brush holder.  I made this using a mason jar, added some twine and a cute polka dot label to make it cuter.  It's nice to look at every morning as I'm getting ready for the day.

I've been loving this "Strawberry Icing" candle from WoodWick lately.  I've had it for a few weeks now and I burn it very frequently.  It smells amazing and lasts a really long time.  I definitely need to invest in more of these candles, especially because I rely on them for heat during the wintertime!

A simple makeup look for everyday.  I tried this look for an interview recently, and I love how polished and simple it is.  I definitely like to experiment with makeup looks, but I've always been a fan of simple, everyday looks as well.  This will be my new go-to look for a polished finish!

Recently, I got a new phone, so all of the photos that had been stored in there for my blog posts are gone!! In the meantime, I'm working on taking more photos with my new phone, but most importantly, I'm working on investing in a good camera to take my blog photos.  Stay tuned!

What are some simple (or not so simple) things you've been loving lately?
