This week, I was finally able to try the Sonia kashuk cream bronzer in warm tan, and the NYX soft matte cream in Stockholm. I have been wanting to try a cream bronzer for some time now, so I picked it up at my local Target. To be honest, I wasn't a big fan of the color because it was a bit too warm/orange for me. I did like the formulation and applied it with the elf studio stippling brush. It is pretty challenging for me to apply bronzer correctly, but I like how easy and foolproof the cream bronzer and stippling brush are together. They are two items I would recommend for bronzer/contour beginners!

I have been really into liquid lipsticks lately (although I only own one, since they're pretty pricey), so I was so happy to learn that NYX created some new liquid lipsticks, called the soft matte lip creams.  I had been wanting to buy a few colors, but unfortunately, was only able to pick up the Stockholm color at my local drugstore.  I believe it was around $9 for the lip product, which is a bit pricey for drugstore, BUT much more affordable than the high end ones (the only one I have is from girlatik and it was roughly $25 if I remember correctly). I've used the NYX Stockholm color twice now, and so far, I really, really like it! It dries to a matte finish really quickly, and the color stays on for a decent amount of time (and lasts through lunch).  I really like the Stockholm color, which is a nude/peach/brown color, and I like how it makes my teeth appear whiter than it really is! The only downside to the lip cream is that it looks a bit patchy on the lips up close, but then again, my lips have always been unusually dry/flakey. I'd recommend exfoliating and moisturizing lightly before applying the lip cream.  All in all, I think it's a great product, and I do look forward to applying it in the mornings! I can't wait to get my hands on the other colors in the collection!
